Quality and Sustainability

Position the Health Technology Assessment as the discipline that allows to evaluate the return on investments in R & D & I with the aim of improving the quality of life of patients and ensuring the sustainability of the healthcare system.

WHAT IS HTA?

It is a multidisciplinary activity that systematically examines:

 

  • security,
  • clinical efficacy and effectiveness,
  • costs and cost-effectiveness;
  • the implications for the organisation,
  • the social consequences;
  • and takes into account the ethical and legal considerations of the application
    new health technology, which usually includes medicines, medical devices, clinical or
    surgical procedures, or even health organisational processes.

A technology assessment has three elements: technology, social aspects and social aspects.

We Offer

Technological consultancy in the health sector

We are experts in the preparation of Health Technology Assessment Positioning Reports (PR-HTA) that aims to achieve sustainable market access, ensuring efficiency based on the Incremental Cost Effectiveness Ratio (ICER).

In the light of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on Health Technology Assessment and amending Directive 2011/24/EU, the need to move towards coordination at EU level is reinforced while emphasising the importance of vigorously pursuing the implementation of Health Technology Assessment Reports.

Training

We have a University Diploma in Health Technology Assessment, in collaboration with Pompeu Fabra University and the Gaspar Casal Foundation, which has been training the next generation of experts in HTA in more than 7 editions.

We are pioneers in training in digitalization and health intelligence skills at the national level. That is why, we offer a Diploma on the subject in collaboration with the Digital Health Association.

We offer individualized training tailored to the needs of companies in the sector in different formats: podcasts, workshops, courses, in company sessions, etc.

Request for Scientific Endorsement

The AEETS has developed a policy of endorsement with the aim of guaranteeing, facilitating and promoting initiatives of excellence aimed at formal evaluators and influencers of health technologies of the National Health System.

We support those activities of dissemination and dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge related to the development of the discipline of HTA in Spain.

Observatory of Trends in Health Technology

The Journal of Health Digitalization Trends (e-health trends) is part of an Observatory that analyses market trends, with a semi-annual advertising that allows the different actors of the system to be up to date with the latest developments in the sector.

Scientific meetings

We organize scientific-technical events around border issues related to discipline for the different actors of the health system.

Our 28 years of experience in the sector have allowed us to combine the knowledge that exists around this discipline, we have:
